Business Description

Since its establishment in 2016, the brand has positioned itself as one of the leading providers of specialty coffee in the German market. The founders, with strong roots in e-commerce, utilized their experiences at Amazon and Auto1 to build a strong and innovative brand.

Inspired by the market gap in the segment of specialty coffees on the German Amazon marketplace, they started distributing three coffee blends, all blends of different beans. Customer feedback quickly revealed the high demand for stronger and simultaneously low-acid Robusta beans.

After some optimizations, the current brand emerged, characterized by its strength with simultaneously low acidity and a distinctive, iconic brand name. The striking packaging and consistently high product quality quickly positioned the brand as a Love Brand in the community.

Over 80% of the revenue is generated through Amazon, while the own online shop contributes around 15% to the revenue and shows increasing growth, especially through targeted CRM measures and the offering of exclusive products. Other distribution channels include Kaufland Online and Rossmann Online, which together account for less than 5% of the revenue but are important components of the multichannel strategy. Discussions are currently underway with major retail chains such as Rossmann, DM, Müller, and Norma for central listing.

The brand has an international customer base with the largest revenue share in Germany (64%), followed by Spain (21%). The brand is also present in Italy, Great Britain, and France, where it achieves 4% and 3% of the total revenue, respectively. The rest of the revenue is distributed across other countries, underscoring the brand's global potential. In the last 12 months, revenue of approximately EUR 608k (2022: approx. EUR 582k) was generated.
