The business idea arose from a genuine customer need: one of the co-founders was a size 48 and had extreme problems finding suitable shoes. Classic ABC analyses showed a high demand with a low market supply. This niche was successfully filled with the innovative concept.

The company specializes in the sale of oversized shoes: Women's shoes in sizes 42-46 and men's shoes in sizes 46-54. The range covers all categories from leisure and business to outdoor and sports shoes, both with established third-party brands and increasingly with the two own brands.

The products are characterized by a fair price-performance ratio, which is achieved through direct manufacturer relationships and optimized distribution structures. A characteristic feature is the consistent pricing above the RRP.

Since its foundation, the company has enjoyed continuous growth and a dominant market position. The early presence on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and Zalando, the establishment of stationary stores from 2008 and the many awards that have confirmed the brand's standing in the public eye were important.

Sales are made via a proven multi-channel approach: own online store (40%), POS (33%), Otto (10%), Zalando (8%) and Amazon (4%) and other small channels.
